Third grade students are reviewing necessary math skills. Last week they spent some time looking at the word “congruent.” They watched the video from iTunes University embedded in the Moodle lesson linked to the image above and then answered some multiple choice questions on the page two of the quiz. They spent the rest of their time in the lab playing the spaceman game to identify the figure that was not congruent in the game linked to the image below:
This week students will learn about “symmetry.” The students will spend most of the time at the Wii Interactive board with the lesson linked to the image below:
I watched a third grade class participate in this lesson and they were truly engaged. It is great to see all teachers working together to provide quality education for the students at White Oak.
